Camp Counsellors are responsible for leading a skill group and providing outstanding instruction to young athletes, while fostering a fun and encouraging environment.
Mini Camp Counsellors are responsible for the planning, organization, and implementation of camp programming for their small designated group of campers. Mini Camp Counsellors may be working at one of our main sites or outdoors at a family's home.
Program Directors, Assistant Directors and Sport Specialists comprise our on-site leadership staff and are responsible for implementing the True North Philosophy. Our Program Directors, Assistant Directors, and Sport Specialists are responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of daily camp programming, while ensuring the safety of all campers and coaches. Our on-site leadership teams are just that, they are leaders and role models to both our campers and our staff.
Site Directors are responsible for implementing the True North Philosophy across an entire camp site. The Site Director is responsible for overseeing daily camp operations, supervising and mentoring the Program Directors and assisting staff with campers and parent issues.
The Director of Administration is responsible for providing excellent customer service while also completing varying administrative duties. Similar to how our on-site staff provide an exceptional experience for our campers, our Director of Administration's aim is to provide the same exceptional experience for our parents and guardians.
I spent two summers employed at NTBC and found the experience to be a tremendous opportunity for personal growth and development. There is a high degree of mutual respect and cooperation amongst the staff and a common understanding that the camps' success is derived from it's people. If you are passionate about baseball, there is no better place to work than NTBC. The senior and professional staff provide you with a balanced environment that combines fun with the opportunity to learn and progress as a baseball instructor, a camp counselor and a leader.
