Program Director (Forest Hill)
Meet Lamar, the Flag Football Program Director for True North's Forest Hill location. Lamar is an alumni of the University of Toronto, where he was a member of the Varsity Blues football team. During his time at UofT he had the honour of participating in the East West Bowl All Star Game and the CFL Combine.  Lamar has extensive experience working with children along with coaching football athletes of all ages and skill levels. His love for health and fitness has led him to become a personal trainer. His athletic experiences, enthusiasm and charismatic personality allows him to be a great role model with a goal to motivate and shape the next generation. Lamar strives to make his programming inclusive and fun for all participants who attend flag football this summer.

Shaq Campbell

Assistant Director (Forest Hill)

Shaq joined True North during 2021 as a Flag Football Camp Counsellor. In February 2023, he has stepped up his role in becoming an Assistant Director of Flag Football Camp. Shaq graduated from George Brown College in June 2021 with an advanced diploma for Child and Youth Care. Shaq has been working with children for seven years with a history of working at other summer camps, and school placements. During the school year, Shaq is a Clinic Coach for True North, as well as an Early Learning Facilitator for the YMCA. Outside of camp, Shaq enjoys playing video games, exercise and socializing with his friends. Everywhere Shaq goes, he brings his positive energy and spirit along with him.
