Shaq Campbell

Program Director (Forest Hill)

Shaq is back for his fifth summer at True North. Shaq started off in 2021 as a Flag Football Coach and worked his way on becoming a Program Director last year. During the school year, he works as an Early Learning Facilitator at the YMCA facilitating programs such as Arts & Crafts, Health & Language & Literacy, and Physical Play. He also participates in the True North clinics for sport sessions, and Birthday Parties. Shaq has worked with children for nine years and is always willing to learn new things from them. Some would say Shaq is fully of energy, life, passion, and always has a smile on his face. In addition, he is able to adapt in his programming and is looking forward to bring something new!

Assistant Director (Forest Hill)
J’Mone is an educator in the Durham District School Board where he has served for the last 13 years. He has extensive experience working with children and youth throughout Scarborough and the GTA, which includes his coaching experience in organized sports. Most notably, J’Mone both played and coached in the Ontario Varsity Football League where he earned multiple Offensive Player of the Year awards and scholarship offers. He further honed his skills providing one-to-one coaching to athletes preparing for post-secondary athletics. J’Mone enjoys being active through sports and recreation, especially football and basketball. He is eagerly looking forward to contributing to TNSC this summer, and being able to amalgamate two things that bring him joy - football and working with children.
