Michael Olivieri
Program Director (Etobicoke)
Michael is a passionate coach who believes that sports and active living are fundamental to a child’s development. After playing in the youth system at Chievo Verona during the club’s peak years in Serie A, he dedicated himself to youth development and has spent the past decade helping young athletes grow both on and off the field. Michael holds an MBA in Sport Management from the Real Madrid Graduate School and a Diploma in Coaching Team Sports from the Barça Innovation Hub. Throughout his coaching career, several of his former players have gone on to play for Toronto FC, Inter Milan, and the Canadian Youth National Team. This summer, Michael is excited to bring his experience and passion to True North, helping take the program to the next level while inspiring young athletes to see the world through the lens of sport.
Nina Stupar
Assistant Director (Etobicoke)
Nina is a returning member of the True North family and is thrilled to be stepping back into the role of Assistant Director at the Etobicoke Multi-Sport location for another summer. After an impactful two summers as both a coach and assistant director, she is excited to continue to build strong connections with campers and their families.FOREST HILL
Jordyn MacMenamin
Program Director (Forest Hill)
Jordyn is excited to be joining True North Sports Camps this summer as the Multi-Sport Program Director at Forest Hill! She graduated from Brock University with a Bachelors of Kinesiology. She has worked in the camp space for 9 years, and is entering her 3rd year in camp management. Through other experience working as a nanny, volunteering in schools and coaching multi-sport programs at Sportball, she has a passion for helping kids learn and grow as well as aiding in their sport development process. She grew up playing competitive hockey for Durham West Lightning. Jordyn believes that sports are important for kids to make friends, build confidence and create lasting memories!
Matthew Wong
Assistant Director (Forest Hill)
Matthew joined the True North team in 2022 and worked as a coach from three years from 2022-2024. He is now entering his second summer as Assistant Director. Matthew is currently in year 3 of a 4 year kinesiology program at McMaster university. Matthew has a background in competitive soccer and shares his passion for basketball and football. Combining his 4 years of experience at True North with 3 years of ski instructing experience, he is used to a camp environment and is excited to continue to express the values of a True North assistant director!

Meghan Holling
Program Director (Leaside)
Meghan is excited to return for her third year at True North Camps as your Program Director at Leaside. This year she has completed her undergraduate degree in International Development at the University of Guelph. Since a young age, Meghan has played many different competitive sports including soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. She began babysitting kids and coaching lacrosse in 2018. She values creating a positive environment for kids and understands the value of sports and physical health to personal development. As someone who has both attended and coached in camps, she is committed to bringing her positive energy to True North this summer!
Steven Edward
Assistant Director (Leaside)
Steven is excited to be spending his first summer in the city at True North! He currently lives here as a student studying his Master of Teaching from the University of Toronto. With him from his home province of Prince Edward Island he brings extensive experience working for day camps programs and public schools. An athletic background playing club and high school varsity basketball in rural Saskatchewan, he also played a large role coaching youth basketball in his community during high school. Steven is looking forward to bringing his athletic, professional, and educational backgrounds together in this role.

Cameron Chapnick

Cameron is excited to join the Lawrence Park Multi-Sport camp as the Program Director this summer. They are entering their fifth year working in summer camps and their third in camp management. They bring valuable experience working with kids of all abilities to create a welcoming and joyous environment for every camper. They are entering their third year of school at the University of Toronto, double majoring in Canadian studies and Urban studies. They are looking forward to spending their summer with True North Sports Camp and are excited to meet everyone!
Emily Costa
Assistant Director (Lawrence Park)
Emily is excited to be joining True North as the assistant director of Lawrence Park Multi-Sport Camp! She has 5 years of experience working with kids through camp counsellor and swim instructing experience. She has played competitive soccer and grew up playing basketball and hockey as well. Emily is going into her third year at McMaster for Health & Society with a minor in Psychology. She can’t wait to be part of the True North team this summer!

Ella Rosenberg

Ella is excited to be joining True North Sports Camps this summer as the Kids Camp Program Director! She is currently a Teacher Candidate in the Concurrent Education program at Queen’s University. Through her experience working with children in schools, tutoring, and youth programs, she has developed a passion for helping kids learn, grow, and have fun. Ella loves staying active and believes sports and play are a great way for children to build confidence, make friends, and create lasting memories. She can’t wait for an amazing summer!
Trinity Sankar

While it is Trinity first year with True North, she is ever so excited to be stepping into the role of Assistant Director for Kids Camp! Bringing forth knowledge and experience being a recent Humber Early Childhood Education Graduate, Trinity is excited but ready for a summer of endless fun ! Trinity has volunteered with children for 9 years, and has completed 3 college placements , along with 2 years of co-op, and strives to creating fun, but personal connections and memories with everyone! Bringing energy along with love in all that she does, Trinity looks forward to meeting all of you and eating her favourite summer snack strawberries!OSHAWA - THE YARD

Brayden Slater

Brayden is excited to be returning for his second year at TNSC! He grew up playing competitive hockey, baseball, and basketball, and continues to play basketball today. Brayden has worked with a variety of youth sports programs, including Bauer Hockey’s “First Shift,” as a baseball coach in Whitby, with Canadian Baseball Scout, and in local youth basketball training programs. A Durham College Sport Management Honours graduate, Brayden is currently expanding his business knowledge at Trent University alongside Coach Mason. He is looking forward to a fun-filled, energetic summer and can't wait to see who can beat his outfit on spirit days!
