Vanessa Perri
Program Director (Etobicoke)
Vanessa has just completed her third year at Queens University in the Concurrent Education program with the hopes of pursuing a teaching career in the future. She was a competitive dancer for most of her life, eventually assisting and teaching dance classes of her own. Sports have always been a large part of her life, and when she wasn’t participating in them herself, she was on the sidelines, supporting and cheering on her loved ones while they played. In the past, Vanessa has volunteered at an overnight summer camp, and helped organize clubs at her University. She is so excited to be returning to the True North team this summer, and can’t wait to share her love of sports with everyone else.

Nina Stupar
Assistant Director (Etobicoke)
Nina is a returning member of the True North family and is thrilled to be stepping into the role of Assistant Director at the Etobicoke Multi-Sport location this summer. After an impactful summer as a coach last year, she is excited to take on new responsibilities and continue building strong connections with campers and their families.FOREST HILL

Alianna Craig
Program Director (Forest Hill)
Alianna is thrilled to be returning for her second year as a Multi-Sport Director at True North Sports Camp! She is entering her third year at McMaster University, where she is pursuing a degree in English and Cultural Studies. She is a National level synchronized swimmer and a varsity athlete for McMaster. Alianna also brings a strong background in sports through competing recreationally in track and field, rugby, basketball, soccer, football. Her passion for sport is matched by her experience in child care, having worked for several years doing summer camps and tutoring. Alianna is dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive environment where every camper feels encouraged to try new things and develop a growth mindset. She can’t wait to bring her energy and experience back to camp this summer!
Matthew Wong
Assistant Director (Forest Hill)
Matthew joined the True North team in 2022 and worked as a coach from three years from 2022-2024. As of this year he is now an assistant director. Matthew is currently in year 2 of a 4 year kinesiology program at McMaster university. Matthew has a background in competitive soccer and shares his passion for basketball and football. Combining his 3 years of coaching experience at True North with 3 years of ski instructing experience, he is used to a camp environment and is excited to continue to express the values of a True North assistant director!

Francesca Kaiser
Program Director Kids Camp (Lawrence Park)
Francesca is super excited to be a Program Director at True North for the summer of 2025. This will be her third year with us! She is currently pursuing a commerce degree at Concordia University, majoring in international business and minoring in theatre. She loves playing all kinds of sports and has played volleyball competitively for two years and danced for 4 years. Before True North, Francesca has been working with children across Toronto since 2018, and is very passionate about creating a fun and welcoming environment for all of her campers, and cannot wait to share her enthusiasm with everyone!
Erika Gonzalez
Assistant Director Kids Camp (Lawrence Park)
Erika is looking forward to beginning her first summer at True North as Assistant Director of Kids Camp at Lawrence Park. She has just completed her second year at Sheridan College for a Bachelor of Film and Television. During the past 3 summers she has worked at both overnight and day camps as a counsellor for ages 4-14 and is excited to continue working with kids once again this summer. As someone who has fond memories of camp from childhood, Erika is committed to fostering an encouraging and fun environment for campers to create their own amazing summer memories.
Mia Kesselman
Program Director of Multi-Sport (Lawrence Park)
Mia is thrilled to be joining True North Sports Camps as the Program Director at Lawrence Park this summer! Going into her fourth year at Western University studying Psychology and Sociology, she brings a strong passion for working with kids and plans to pursue a career in childcare. As a member of Western’s varsity golf team and with a strong background in competitive sports, Mia values teamwork, dedication and leadership. She has spent the past three summers working at summer camps and coaching golf, gaining experience in creating fun, supportive environments for all ages. Mia is a dedicated team player who cares deeply about making sure every child feels confident, included, and excited to come to camp each day. She can’t wait to bring her energy, creativity, and love for sports to an unforgettable summer!
Zack Karam
Assistant Director of Multi-Sport (Lawrence Park)
This is Zack’s second summer as part of the True North team. Zack is currently enrolled in university, where he is in a Business Administration program at Wilfrid Laurier University. Before starting at True North Camps in 2023, Zack spent 4 summers as a Soccer camp Counsellor at UCC from 2019-2022.

Amala Hutchinson-Jones
Program Director (Leaside)
Amala is thrilled to be returning as Program Director for an amazing fourth summer. During the year, she lives and works in Winnipeg, MB as an elementary teaching assistant, coaches basketball, and is on her way to becoming a teacher. She’s been passionate about a variety of sports her whole life, especially basketball, and loves helping campers build confidence, skills, and love for the game. She can’t wait to make this summer the best one yet!
Meghan Holling
Assistant Director (Leaside)
Meghan is excited to return for her second year at True North Camps as your Assistant Director at Leaside. She is currently completing her undergraduate degree in International Development at the University of Guelph. Since a young age, Meghan has played many different competitive sports including soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. She began babysitting kids and coaching lacrosse in 2018. She values creating a positive environment for kids and understands the value of sports and physical health to personal development. As someone who has both attended and coached in camps, she is committed to bringing her positive energy to True North this summer!
